Please check this section to find answers to our most common questions. If you don't find the answer here, please contact us via email at nationaltreasurepageants@gmail.com
What are the rounds?
Our competition consists of five rounds, four of which are judged. Interview, Opening (not judged), Fashion, National and Evening.
Is charity work compulsory?
As we are a charity based competition, and our primary purpose is to raise vital funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, we do ask that all of our finalists do hold some form of fundraiser to raise what they can for the charity.
Do finalists have to make appearances?
We send out sashes to all finalists to allow them to make appearances within their communities. While appearances are not mandatory, they are taken into account during finals and count towards the Miss Publicity award.
How much is the entry fee?
We keep our fee very low to allow our competition to remain accessible to all. We charge a £105 fee to help cover costs of running the competition; all excess funds will be donated to the charity.
What date are finals?
Please check back for this information.
Do you have to live in Scotland to compete?
NO! Our applications for Grand Finals are open to the whole of the UK and Northern Ireland. If you'd like to apply to be an international candidate, please contact us directly via nationaltreasurepageants@gmail.com for more information.
Do you need to have a sponsor?
While sponsors can often be helpful to assist you with your fees, we do not require you to use a sponsor for this.
Do you have to have experience to compete?
Not at all! We pride ourselves on supporting our contestants from the moment they enter right up until the crowning moment. We have had many first time pageant girls compete within National Treasure and it's a great way to get started in the pageant world!
What look do National Treasure Pageants prefer?
Here at NTP, we don't look for a specific "look" in any of our queens. We want Queens who will be great ambassadors to represent both the pageant and the Make-A-Wish Foundation throughout their title year over cover girls. We accept applications from all ladies from age 13 upwards regardless of their shape, size, skin tone, hair colour etc.
How do we buy tickets for finals?
Tickets to our grand finals are £15 across the board and can be purchased via email, stating who you are supporting and how many tickets you require. Payment details will be sent out to you on receipt of your ticket request.
Can we buy tickets on the door?
Tickets are not available to purchase on the door as we must provide final numbers to our venue prior to the event.
