About National Treasure

 

National Treasure Pageants was born in 2013 to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Our first competition was held on April 3rd 2014 and raised a total of £2,543.50!

 

Why was National Treasure Pageants born? - a word from our Founding Director:

 

During 2012, I worked at Disneyland Paris as a princess and while I was there I was involved in quite a few "Make-a-Dream" events. These events were one on one meetings with terminally ill children, run in collaboration with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. It was such a hard thing to do but was so rewarding at the same time, because for that one day these children got a break from hospital life and whatever treatment they were going through, to meet their favourite princess or character.

 

Seeing the look in their faces, and seeing how much that moment meant to their familie,s made me fall in love with the foundation and I promised to continue my work for them when I returned home. This drive coupled with my love of pageants led to the birth of National Treasure Pageants.

£11,726.89!
